German hip hop artist Phil Rick released this track just last month and we gotta say, it’s got a relatively impressive flow. With a very catchy beat that boasts a high production value and inspires movement, the chorus might be a little flat in the songwriting department, but IDKY makes up for it with the verses. What’s stands out the most is the lyrical content, which takes a much needed departure from the typical hip hop content of partying and money, blah blah blah, and instead takes the narrative perspective of an artist who is tired of a vapid scene and just wants to go home and be comfortable. Very relatable.
