The second track off of their album Simul Incipit Ipse, Turkish black metal band Antistrophe delivers a healthy helping of swirling darkness in this track. Grinding and riff-heavy, Notus and the Torn Chlamys has an ancient and mythological vibe to it, not unlike the rest of the album. Overall it operates as only one chapter in a much larger story and the musical delivery and songwriting emphasize this aspect.
