This is the second track in the last month that we’ve had the pleasure of covering from Swedish post-hardcore band Awake The Dreamer. The first, Labyrinth, was a truly cinematic musical experience and this latest release Broken Home brings an even more epic hand to the table. Starting off heavy and strong, Awake The Dreamer delivers a high octane and heart-racing score, punctuated with melodic choruses and pounding drums. The most remarkable aspect of Broken Home is the dynamic composition, which breaks up the heavy instrumental onslaught with verses and bridges where the vocals are the key focus.
