The first track from their EP The Doctor Will See You, D.C. based band Doctor Blood describes themselves as “a heavy noise rock/grindcore fusion extreme metal duo” and their EP as “The hell of existence distilled into unique heavy grind”. Featuring a hilarious clip lifted from the episode of Seinfeld when Kramer is hoarding his own blood from the blood bank in his apartment because he doesn’t trust “banks”, Fester is a drippy, grimy, cacophonous composition that does noise rock very proud. Doctor Blood is definitely a band to keep an eye on if you’re a fan of unique blends of death metal, hardcore punk, and comedic timing.
