An “aspiring artist from the North East of England”, Secxnd Self is one our latest underground finds and while the flow is just the slightest bit off, the sincerity and desire is definitely there. Gnarly has some good moments, though the track itself is pretty brief and if you blink you’ll miss those moments. Overall, the beats and production are impressive for an underground name such as this. As far as UK rap/hiphop goes, this guy definitely has some big shoes to fill and a lot of work to do, but the lane for UK trap is much less crowded, so if he can buckle down and focus on honing and perfecting his craft, he can go far.
