Featuring an epic and cinematic composition that feels very “old testament” and some Ron Wasserman-esque guitar solos, this latest release from Greek death metal band Caelestia is a highly conceptual track that really showcases the band’s technical prowess. Chapter of Protection / Martyrs MMXXIII nails the death metal parts of itself but also incorporates some traditional metal elements and takes an approach to instrumentals that is almost Classical in a sense. Definitely worth a deep dive for fans of the highly technical and conceptual!
