Toronto based metal band The Fractured released this bombshell of a track at the end of last month and it’s a pretty fascinating composition. Complete with some atmospheric elements that sound like choir overtures layered beneath some truly tight guitar work, Black Sea is a classic post-hardcore/melodic metal track in many ways and truly innovative in others. High octane and dynamic from the jump, The Fractured also manages to loop in some catchy lyrical moments and a blend of instrumental moments with an effect that’s both cacophonous and harmonious.
