We were recently at a chain of rock bars in Guadalajara called Rock It! and this track would have fit in perfectly in the vibe there. Released last month by US metalcore band Everrest, Early Grave is comfortably approachable and catchy in all the ways you want a metalcore track to be. While some of the content and songwriting is a bit on the cliché side (particularly the breakdown “Pray The Lord” parody), it all has a nice ring to it, once all is said and done. Overall, the production value gets an A+ and Early Grave achieves its spot among the more interesting additions to the metalcore subgenre.
