“YNG Martyr is a rapper from Canberra, Australia, most notably known for his viral song “Nike Ticks”. Surprisingly, his music career began in an online video game chatroom, when a competitor challenged him to freestyle rap for his peers. After realizing his natural freestyle abilities, Martyr began writing and releasing original music.”
A comedic and irreverent track, SUPERBAD is the latest from Australian based YNG Martyr and boasts some truly hilarious songwriting, but that’s not our favorite part. The stylized inflection of the chorus “AHA AHAHAHA” is the dazzling star that loops the rest of this masterpiece together and gives it the hook that has us caught in the cycle of YNG Martyr. SUPERBAD goes hard from beginning to end with cheap shots, toilet humor and delicious vulgarity and most of all: it’s danceable.
