A heavy dark-wave influence presence in this newest release from US industrial artist Digital Escort. With plenty of late 80’s/early 90’s new wave and goth rock touches, Pretty Poison also mixes in some metal vocal effects here and there as well. What truly shines on this track, however, is how simple but effectively catchy the songwriting is – an artform that often feels lost nowadays. This is a really fun moody gem if you’re into out-of-the-box industrial music.
