Released in March 2023, this throwback from Australian dark wave duo Arditi Daggers has a vintage vibe to it with an overall haunting effect courtesy of atmospheric electric guitar and synths. The shining star of Janitor is the composition and the way it maintains a dark, brooding tone while the vocals create a rise-and-fall effect via the heavy use of reverb elements. There’s an almost new wave quality to this track that adds a levity to the otherwise true-to-form dark wave feel.
