All Metal Everything

Silo – Imposter

Formed in 2021 in Douglas, Isle of Man, Silo serves as a vehicle to explore the sonics of internal aggression. Combining driving guitar tones of early 2000’s post-hardcore with the pace and relentlessness of anxiety in a modern world, Silo is a sonic expression of internal aggression. Relentless and never letting up, Silo channel their anger and distain in to what they create. A cathartic outlet to deal with the nuances of life.

It’s a rare thing that we get to review a track so close on the heels of its release and Imposter was released just yesterday, not even 24 hours ago, by UK band Silo. A head-nodding blend of post-hardcore, metalcore, and even a bit of punk in the instrumental delivery, armed with a personal narrative, soaring vocals, and hammering drums, this track has a bad attitude and a bone to pick. The second single and first non-demo track released by Silo, Imposter was issued an exclusive preview by BBC Radio earlier this month and was very well recieved.
