The influences from The Cure are evident in the composition of this captivating release from Los Angeles based darkwave artist Pete Mills AKA The Sweet Kill. With his deep and brooding vocals and clean 80’s sound details, this track released in October 2023 also gives us some TRVST vibes, another goth/darkwave artist. Accompanied by a melancholy and candlelit video set in a cemetery, Undead is a shining example that really well done goth/post-punk music is still possible.
