Atlanta-based emo rapper slayk brings us some razor sharp lyrics with a beat that’s definitely got some trap influence. While, trigger warning, there is some gratuitous use of the R-word, so if you’re easily offended this is not for you, slayk delivers on some whip-smart rhymes and keeps it catchy and approachable, otherwise. Moshpit Party, released back in August 2023, is short and effective, being just over 2 minutes long, but absolutely leaves its mark.
