Released late last month by Brazilian black metal project Meggera , Falso Herói goes hard from the very first drop and embarks on a face-melting symphony featuring heavy vocals and thundering drums. Breaking briefly here and there for soaring clean vocal, Meggera keeps it consistently heavy up until an unexpected breakdown about 2 thirds of the way through. The breakdown is perfectly timed addition that really allows the track to breathe and to show off some more classical instrumental elements before diving right back into the fray.
