Since the 1990’s, France has produced some of the most hardcore rappers in international Hip Hop. During the boom-bap era; French rappers embodied “lyrical rap” and put menace and grit into their delivery.
Now as we enter the era of Trap Metal – we are seeing the French and other international acts begin to take a leading role in the popularizing and furthering of the genre. Hélas is slowly turning the tide towards extreme music and we’re lucky to be able cover early on.
