This June 2022 release from Barcelona post-punk/alt-rock project Catástrofe Club is perfectly dark and moody for this Wednesday morning. The beats are lo-fi and deep and the bass notes provide the subtle lowlights we need in an electronic track of this caliber. It’s giving a strong 80’s new wave vibe that’s paired with an attitude that reminds us of TRVST and Echo and the Bunnymen. The video is odd and full of baseball references but aesthetically/visually is high contrast and perfectly paired with the vibe of this song.
