Hailing from the bottom of the Earth, Deuxronin bring us a cinematic vision of a life after civilization has fallen. They describe their sound as “Armageddon as an audio experience” and they couldn’t be more spot on.
This song is great because it never stays the same. Monix and Ra Kitano keep us invested with a dynamic flow and charismatic energy. The instrumentation adds another element to the mix with every new section, never a cookie-cutter beat pattern or melody only innovation.
This is a mysterious pair of artists. There isn’t much information about them online and they don’t share too much on their social media either. It’s refreshing in an age of oversharing on social media to come across artists who limit the information they give out. It makes us listen to every beat, hang on every word. I like these guys a lot and their song “Revelations” is refreshing and has a lot of replay value. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were build an international fan-base and maybe even one day do a North American tour.
Listen to Revelations below if you want to see more Deuxronin.
Underneath the flashy Trap sound that has dominated the pop charts for the past few years; there is a beast bellowing, waiting for its time.
An undertow of abrasive and subversive music is aching to hit a wider audience.
