Taking a page out of the doom metal book and tying it up with hardcore punk and noise rock, Aftermathematics is the latest from Norwegian band Feral Nature. With an untamable spirit to it that is present in every element they’ve so passionately constructed, Feral Nature’s newest effort is an eviscerating soundscape that takes the gloominess of sludge and lights it on fire with classic punk scream vocals. Aftermathematics has a haunting quality to it that is only eclipsed by the sheer chaos evoked in the overall style and sound.
