Lives Lost – CHIN UP KID! – All Metal Everything

“Lives Lost; This is a phrase most prominently known as a euphemism for the number of deaths in a situation. In this instance, this phrase represents Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA Alt Rock/Metalcore band, routed in emotion, melody, and thought. Founded by Tanis Pellegrini (lead vocals) and joined by two of his closest friends, Aaron Perry (lead guitar) and Alan Thompson (Drums, Backing Vocals), and newfound addition Chad Wynn (Bass, Vocals) Lives Lost has released a variety of singles and a concept EP about one character’s journey through the stages of grieving inspired by the band’s personal lives. With plans for a second EP and a full length album, Lives Lost hits the stage with national, regional, and local acts hoping to leave a lasting imprint in the hearts (and minds) of all of you.“

Released only yesterday, this is the newest effort from Pennsylvania metalcore band Lives Lost. Having already received glowing reviews from vloggers like Live Band Smokeout, Chin Up Kid is the third taste of the band’s upcoming EP entitled Home. A moving piece of a conceptual album about the healing journey experienced by victims of abusive homes, Chin Up Kid dives in with brutal aggression and high octane instrumentals while exploring a deeply personal and ultimately encouraging narrative.
