The newest release from Canadian metal band Planetkiller, this track has been out for just over a week and already has over 3.2K views on Youtube, an impressive number for such an underground band. With a gritty DIY quality to the percussion that adds a valuable contrast to the epic cinematic undertones that permeate most of the composition, REAP//SOW gives us a brutal but diverse soundscape that is perfectly balanced. Planetkiller isn’t afraid to experiment or take risks, whether it be the pacing that slows to a crawl to layering of different vocal styles and self-harmonies.
