The innovative hip hop well has been a little dry of late, so you can imagine how excited I was to find such a gem in the desert of late. The second single from up and coming hip hop outfit Wild East Radio, this track was released just last month. Aside from slickest songwriting I’ve had the pleasure of hearing in quite a while, the visual creativity is a major stand out for Noise Complaints and its accompanying music video. Truly, Wild East Radio pulls out all the stops and employs a combination of camera work and visual tricks that I’ve literally never seen before in the same video. Bottles smashing on car roofs, cracked eggs, fish eye lenses, and wide angle shots paired with close ups perfectly cut into the mix, Noise Complaints is not afraid to get messy and that’s what makes it so explosive.
