A haunting steel guitar and a grimy grinding bass are the standouts on this latest single from Norwegian band Electric High. A cut from their new album, releasing today, Weeping Gods pushes instrumental work to the forefront of the composition, allowing the vocals to be a slightly understated element in a complex mix of instrumental prowess. Blending together hard rock, alt-metal and a little bit of blues influence, if this is any indication of what the rest of the album sounds like, we’re all in for a treat.
