“Citizend, a duo hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, is teaming up with heavyweight champions Majestic Mountain Records to release their debut concept EP The Spiral.
Citizend consists of Emil Gustavsson (ex Orochen) and multi-instrumentalist and producer Otto Nilsson. The duo has come together with a common vision to break barriers between classical genre descriptions, where music is intertwined with themes and concepts. All to let storytelling take as much space as possible.

Adding to our list of fresh releases is this track from Swedish post-rock duo Citizend. With a gritty vocal delivery reminiscent of Tom Waits and Queens of The Stone Age, Drowning is a slow but intentional track that pushes the emotional narrative to the forefront. Gloomy and filled with rich musical details, this track has veers between an Old West vibe and a perfectly executed commitment to songwriting as a central focus.
