With a hilariously ironic twist, when you search this track on Youtube, the top results are about Boeing and plane crash controversies. That being said, one of our favorite metalcore powerhouses Round One Flight! is back again with their latest release: Failure By Design. Unlike Boeing, apparently, Round One Flight! delivers an exceptional experience every time and this track is no exception. With the usual extra strength dose of metalcore followed by a post-hardcore chaser, Failure By Design wastes no time at all in the set up but immediately goes in for the kill. Rapid fire melodies and wailing guitar instrumentals throughout, this track also switches the tempo here and there to reset the listener’s palette in preparation for yet another deliciously powerful verse. Not nearly as metaphor heavy as this review, Round One Flight! keeps it pretty light and straight forward lyrically, focusing mainly on the delivery of quality.
